TRD R&D Team '21-'22
CODE's feedback mechanisms are relatively isolated between different departments, projects, and engagement teams. CODE therefore has yet to explore a more efficient system of synthesizing such feedback for each of its members' development.
There is an opportunity to strategically learn from the various experiences within CODE, and to make better sense of what these experiences mean for CODErs individually.
TRD R&D Team '20-'21
Impact assessment has always been a topic of conversation amongst CODErs. Often the conversations in and around this are geared towards gaining a better understanding of the value that CODE’s efforts give to the sector, and by extension, CODE’s value as an organization. This general concept of impact assessment is to be differentiated from the Impact Assessment (IA) documents that are formally used in the organization.
At its base, the thought process is:
As Ateneo CODE, we seek to work with and for the youth through Organization Development (OD).
OD is our main tool to empower the youth and show them that they are capable of creating positive and sustainable change within their own organizations.
Engagements are our main conduit to achieve (1) and (2), but we are also able to do this through other projects such as XChange, Youth Huddle, etc.
Focusing on engagements, IA will allow us to know whether (1) and (2) were achieved.
TRD R&D Team '19-'20
How might we effectively get a snapshot of the current state of our engagements? This sprint aimed to devise a solution that would swiftly and accurately gather, analyze, and disseminate knowledge within the organization. The way knowledge is currently collected and conveyed lags in terms of addressing changing needs and trends - a problem that stems from a need to revamp and streamline the organization’s knowledge-sharing processes.
TRD R&D Team '19-'20
The sprint team aimed to come up with an output that would supplement the C-Team process in adapting to changing client needs and CODE context. From the process itself to the tools and skills CODErs need to be equipped with, there was a lot of ground to cover in terms of how CODErs might want to improve C-Teams. This sprint was ran to cover some of this ground by targeting a specific part of the process and prototype a solution for it.
